As the UK’s largest retail drycleaner, Johnson Cleaners has seen plenty of clothing and other soft goods damaged by fire, smoke, water, mould, mildew and neglect. Understanding that the process for cleaning and restoring damaged soft goods required specialised focus, technologies and processes, Johnsons Restoration was created in 2004.Johnsons Restoration has been developed in conjunction with FRSTeam, the leading American textile and leather restoration specialist. It is a technology partnership that combines the service experience and national presence of Johnsons in the UK with the restoration experience and expertise of FRSTeam.
Utilising a centralised system, with our main facility in West Midlands, we have been able to support restoration contractors, insurance carriers and adjusters and remove all the previous "hassle" and inconvenience associated with 'laundry and dry cleaning', throughout the UK.
With our dedicated facility, focusing on restoration and cleaning, Johnsons Restoration offers the policyholder the maximum opportunity to restore both emotional and sentimental items, as well as everyday household soft goods. For the contractor, adjuster or insurer this provides a highly cost effective solution vs replacement.
Because we belong to one of the UK’s largest PLC companies, and through our partnership with FRSTeam, Johnsons Restoration can access leading technical support and processes, throughout the world, to deal with all types of fabrics and contamination.
In addition, Johnsons Restoration recognises the environmental impact of cleaning processes and, as the major UK licensee, utilises the GreenEarth process along with wet washing techniques to help protect the environment.
Johnsons Restoration also works with many High Street retailers in order to establish correct cleaning processes and for specialised items to receive specific endorsements.
